Friday Note

Look who visited The Frog Pond.

Please continue to send boots and snow pants in for recess. The playground is wet and muddy. Also, many students didn't have hats and mittens today, and it was only 38 degrees at recess time. If your child has extra snow gear please feel free to send it in and they can leave it in their cubbies. Thank you

Homework agenda and spelling words for the week

As Thanksgiving break comes to an end I just wanted to remind everyone that we have PE in the morning. Don't forget your sneakers. You will also need your boots and winter gear for recess. The playground is going to be sloppy, snowy and muddy. I can't wait to see all the tadpoles tomorrow and hear about their time away from the pond.

The Frog Pond is feeling Thankful!

Well, winter is here.❄️Don't forget to send your tadpole into school tomorrow with, hats, mittens, snow pants, and boots. We still go out for recess as long as the temperature is above zero.

I am so proud of how well The Frog Pond did during the evacuation drill yesterday. This class has the best listening and direction following skills I have seen in a long time!!! Not only do they make my job easy, but what fun they are to come to school to everyday. 💚🐸

The picture day order forms went home in folders today. Picture day is October 4. 

This Friday, September 23rd will be our annual evacuation drill. Please remember that your child will not be dismissed from the walker pickup area till the drill is completed. Thank you for your cooperation.

Homework

Don't forget that tonight is the first night of homework for your student. I've sent home a math worksheet that will be due tomorrow. I've also sent home a homework survival kit with each child, ask them about it.😉🐸

·        Backpack (large enough to house snow pants, lunch pail, and folders)

·        1 Composition Notebook (wide rule)

·        1 package of #2 Pencils (No Mechanical)(No Pens)

·        3 glue sticks and 1 bottle of white glue

·        Crayola twistables colored pencils (not the crayons)

·        1 box of 24 crayons

·        1 boxes of tissue

·        1 box of baby wipes

 

* There is no need to purchase a three ring binder, Trapper Keeper or a tool box

*Please do not label your child’s supplies. We share all supplies in the Frog Pond except the notebook.
