We seem to have a lost Art To Remember order. Those of you who ordered if you could double check what you received, that would be wonderful. If you find that you received something that doesn't belong to you please let me know so that I can pick it up and get it the correct family.

The special schedule has changed for the rest of week because of the snow day.

Thursday: Art

Friday: PE

Over the next two weeks I thought it would be fun to invite a parent in everyday at 9:45am to read their favorite holiday story to the class. Message me with the book title you would like to read, and the days you would be available. I will message everyone back with a schedule. So far the books that have been read are, The Wild Christmas Reindeer, The Gingerbread Man and Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer.

There was a mistake on the Friday Note that went home in the folders. We have PE for a special tomorrow (Wednesday).

Reminder:
Canton Central will be having their annual evacuation drill tomorrow. Please make sure your child wears sneakers because we will be walking to the bus garage.
Students who ride the bus home or to daycare will get home about the same time as usual.

Teachers will leave their walkers and parent pick-ups at the Banford playground.  There will be teacher supervision of these students while the rest of the school proceeds to the bus garage.

 

Parents will pick up their children at the Banford parking lot at the normal dismissal time.

 

Tomorrow is our weekly spelling test.
We also will be going to the library, so don't forget to send in those library books.

• Backpack (large enough to house snow pants, lunch pail, and folders)
• 1 folder any color
• 12 or more #2 Pencils (No Mechanical)(No Pens)
• 1 package of cap easers
• Pointed end scissors
• 4 Glue sticks
• Twistable colored pencils (No markers)
• 2*24 box of crayons
• 1 box of tissue
• 1 box of baby wipes

* There is no need to purchase a three ring binder, Trapper Keeper or a tool box

*Please do not label your child’s supplies, we will share all supplies.

Summer Vacation 2014

Have a great summer froggies you earned it!!!!

Just a quick note on our tadpoles. They are at my house enjoying some sunshine. I haven't decided if I will let them go in our pond or if I'll wait till they are frogs to release them. I'll keep you all posted.

Parents, I believe teacher letters for next year will be out in 3 or 4 weeks.

If there is any parent who would like to walk with us to the library and Sergi's on Thurday,  I would appreciate the chaperones. Please send a note into school, with your child just letting me know. Thank you

 

 

Happy Flag Day!!!

Due to the weather forecast for tomorrow the Frog Pond will not be walking to Morgan’s. Instead the students and I will be having a picnic in the room. I have purchased ice cream treats for all the kids.

Don't forget that we are swimming tomorrow (Tuesday, June 10th). Don't forget to send your child's bathing suit, towel, and plastic bag to school.

Calling all plastic bags. The 'wet' season has arrived here in the Frog Pond.  We could really use some plastic grocery bags to take wet clothing and gear home in.
